It is imperative as both a leader and an entrepreneur to evaluate not only goals but ones business. Over the years, one of the most commonly used frameworks was the SWOT analysis. This method focuses on evaluating the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in a businesses environment. Some may argue that “the intent was correct- to relate the company to its environment- but the tool was weak”. Perhaps “Industry structure is an exceptionally more powerful and objective tool for understanding the dynamics of competition” (Margretta, 2012).
Over the course of time, there have been new forms of business analyses created. Although they may share similar component, the focal points may vary. As such, it is useful for entrepreneurs to perform as many analyses as possible to ensure their company infrastructure is as strong as possible. Below, I have done just that. I have performed a SWOT analysis for my business venture in the works. Over the upcoming weeks I will conduct several other forms of analysis and post.

Shayna,
You provided an excellent presentation for your future business venture! I enjoyed the layout of your presentation in addition to the design and graphics you used. You provided excellent details about what your future venture is in addition to what SWOT analysis means. All of your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats were realistic as with any company. I agree, with any business obtaining additional help can be difficult especially when starting out as a new business. Overall, I enjoyed your presentation!
